Sterile Processing Technologist

Sterile Processing Technologist – Full-time Day, 7 am – 3:30 pm

Responsible for cleaning of reusable equipment and surgical instruments. Checks for proper operation, cleanliness and defects. Assembles and sterilizes same according to proper procedure. Ensures that the department is efficient, providing appropriate and timely service to medical center wide users of sterile supplies.

Requirements

Education – High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience – Basic Knowledge of surgical instrumentation preferred.

Licensure/Certification – Up to date Sterile Processing Certification preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities – Basic microbiology instruction preferred.
