About the Role:

On this team, our Install Technicians play a critical role. As an Install Technician, you are the skilled electrician visiting customer homes to ensure proper and safe installation of all equipment. You are a representation of the brand and set the tone for what that customer can expect from us now and into the future.

Our team starts each day with a morning check in to reconnect on daily progress, review appointments scheduled for the day, overview objectives, and learn. From there, you’ll be tasked with 1-2 scheduled installation appointments daily within 30 miles of Hagerstown, MD.

Responsibilities:

  • To make a great first impression with customers by being polite and eager to help, as well as keeping a neat vehicle, tools, uniform, and paperwork.
  • Ensure work is completed neatly and efficiently while maintaining respect of the customer’s home.
  • Serving the company’s clients through expert installation of replacement systems. Replacements represent a large portion of the company’s total business and therefore it is imperative that the company has an excellent reputation for quality installations. Take pride in every installation that you do. Show the client through the quality of your work that your company offers superior service and quality.
  • Re-check each aspect of an installation before leaving the job to prevent unnecessary callbacks after the job is finished.
  • Always explain any equipment installed to the client when finished and make sure that they are 100% satisfied with the work.
  • Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving.
  • Maintain a production level minimum as determined by management.
  • Perform full service and panel change-outs in an average of one day or less.
  • Fill out installation paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
  • Work independently or in a team environment as required

Requirements:

  • Active Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Maryland, WV, and VA (preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in residential or commercial service work
  • Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings

Compensation: Pay will range from $33-38/hour based on experience and performance. Benefits package available including health insurance, and paid time off.
