Job Overview

Job Scope:
This position ensures proper greasing of equipment, oil changes on equipment, and assisting the Superintendent on daily maintenance of plant. Individual must have ability to operate skid loader.
Essential Duties:
- Properly grease equipment
- Monitor oil levels and perform oil changes on equipment
- Shovel catwalk and clean up around plant
- Assist Superintendent in starting of all equipment
- Assist Superintendent in shutting down of all equipment
- Safely operate skid loader
- Perform screen cloth inspections
- Gain cutting torch experience
- Maintain an overall safe and clean work area
- Drive company vehicles to, from, and on crushing sites
Secondary Duties:
- Maximize production and cycle times
- Develop skills to advance
- Complete all paperwork when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and proper use of personal protective equipment
- MSHA training and certification required
- Equipment safety training required
Education Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or equal years of experience
Experience Requirements:
One to two years of experience preferred

Pulling – 0% of shift
Climbing – 10% of shift
Sitting – 60% of shift
Overhead work – 0% of shift
Standing – 10% of shift
Walking – 30% of shift
Lifting up to 50 pounds – 3% of shift

Other Requirements:
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and pre-employment physical
- Ability to travel up to two weeks at a time
- Possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
Work Environment:
Work takes place at a crushing site which is outdoors, subject to weather. The volume at a crushing site is loud. Personal protective equipment, such as a hard hat, steel toe boots, safety goggles, and ear plugs/muffs, is required on the crushing site. Individual may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures
