Job Title: Licensed Journeyman Electrician

Location: Hagerstown, MD and the surrounding 30 mile radius.

About the Role:

On this team, our electrical service technicians (ESTs) play a critical role. As an EST, you are the skilled electrician visiting customer homes to identify and understand needs, recommend solutions, and complete the work that is needed. You are the highest representation of the brand and set the tone for what that customer can expect from us now and into the future.

Our team starts each day with a morning check in to reconnect on daily progress, review appointments scheduled for the day, overview objectives, and learn. From there, you’ll be tasked with 1-2 scheduled service appointments daily within 30 miles of Hagerstown, MD. As you visit with each customer, you’ll work through a consultative process , preform troubleshooting and system inspections, review recommendations and solutions with the customer, complete the approved work, collect payment, and recap with our HQ team.

Responsibilities:

To make a great first impression with customers by being polite and eager to help, as well as keeping a neat vehicle, tools, uniform, and paperwork
Work with customers to understand their goals and needs first
Troubleshoot/diagnose electrical issues and perform full electrical system inspections to give the customer a full picture of the health of their electrical system
Build options and solutions that help the customer achieve their goals while giving them the information they need to best move forward (work that should be completed, optional solutions that would help them better achieve goals, and service plans to help the customer save time/money, etc.)
Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with local and state codes
Work independently or in a team environment as required
Ensure work is completed neatly and efficiently while maintaining respect of the customers home
Document each appointment and add notes to the customer database
Complete end of day recap and reporting and coordinate with the service manager to provide feedback on daily operations.

Requirements:

Active Journeyman Electrician license in the state of Maryland, WV, and VA (preferred)
5+ years of experience in residential or commercial service work
Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Compensation: Pay will range from $36-42/hour based on experience and performance. Benefits package available including health insurance, and paid time off.
