We are looking for Assemblers to join our Erecting Department.  Assemblers work closely with other technicians and engineers and fulfill a variant of duties, such as, hands-on assembly, inspecting; along with using forklifts, hand trucks, and overhead cranes.  We are looking for motivated individuals who want to work hard and grow with our company.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities:

  • Preform hands-on assembly operations on all types of grinding machines and components.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and verbal instruction to complete the assembly process of machines, components, sub-assemblies, hydraulic piping and hydraulic components hook ups.
  • Understanding, proficiency, and safe use of forklifts, hand trucks, overhead cranes and rigging techniques.
  • Understand differences in details when inspecting parts or work performed, checking for defects or quality issues, or when distinguishing between various parts and components.
  • Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement activities within the departments.
  • Travel may be required to customer plants for installation and/or service.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Experience with working in a manufacturing or production related environment (preferred).
  • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and its application to machine tools, specifically grinding machines.
  • Ability to use a wide variety of hand, power, and air tools.
  • Ability to read and follow policies and procedures and support organization’s goals.
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Must have a strong work ethic and be able to follow proper safety procedures and guidelines.
