Weis Markets is a multi-billion-dollar company with more than 200 stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic region including Pennsylvania, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware, and Virginia. Our distribution center in Milton, Pennsylvania supplies our stores and we operate our own truck fleet and manufacturing facilities. Altogether, we employ over 23,000 associates.
In recent years, the Weis Markets story has been one of growth and expansion. We build new state-of-the-art stores and remodel or expand our older units. Our growth has also included the acquisition of over 80 stores from other companies which now operate under the Weis banner. Additionally, we have added one million square feet to our warehouse facilities.
