The SA VISTA position is supervised through both the Morgan County Board of Education and Morgan County Starting Points.
Morgan County Starting Points is a non-profit Family Resource Center in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
Our mission is to build a resilient community by collaborating to provide mentoring, education, and support to Morgan County families.
We are an integrated, trauma informed community resource providing pathways to independent, healthy, and stable living.
Starting Points provides direct services, information, and resources to families. We are a one-stop shop for family friendly services and our staff works with individual families to meet their needs.
Starting Points serves either as the lead agency or as an involved partner to assess the needs of families to initiate and develop opportunities for Morgan County families.
Throughout West Virginia, Starting Points centers have adopted the Strengthening Families model which allows families to better nurture and support their children. Strengthening Families is a natural partner in providing trauma informed services.
